History

Dynamic / situational shooting matches, often based on IDPA rules.

The MSSZ Situational division was established to organize domestic dynamic shooting events, covering multiple disciplines: Rapid Shooting , Steel Challenge , Metal Duel , SAS (Situational Action Shooting), and CMA (Competitive Marksman Action).

The division regularly organizes referee training courses (Rapid, Steel Challenge, SAS/CMA), ensuring high-quality competition management. Competitors can register for events through the SVIR system.

National Championships are held at various venues including Ács and Esztergom, with broad competitor participation.

Steel Challenge: Engaging steel targets as fast as possible – 8 official stages, slowest run is dropped.

SAS/CMA: Situational Action Shooting and Competitive Marksman Action – target shooting combined with tactical elements.

Metal Duel: Direct duel format with steel targets, fastest shooter wins.
