Magyar Sportlövők Szövetsége · Pistol Rifle Shotgun Mixed

History

Cowboy Action Shooting and related 'wild west' style matches with period-correct firearms.

Cowboy Action Shooting (CAS) originated in 1981 at the Coto de Caza Shooting Range in Orange County, California. The sport requires the use of firearms and attire typical of the mid-to-late 19th century American "Old West" era.

The Single Action Shooting Society (SASS) is the international governing body. In Hungary, the MSSZ Western division represents the sport, working closely with SASS European organizations.

Competitors must select a unique "alias" connected to the Old West era and wear period-appropriate costumes at all events.
